Wir sind eh bekannt, nicht nur dann vollgas zu geben, wenn sich Prominenz auf dem Berg tummelt, sondern täglich einen perfekten Park zu shapen von Juli bis anfang November.
Nun wollen wir aber nochmal einen drauf setzen und mit euch unser grosses Jubiläum feiern! Bereits zum zehnten mal öffnet der Gravity Park am kommenden Wochenende seine Pforten und möchte sich mit einer unvergesslichen Session am 1. August bei all den treuen und zukünftigen Gästen für ihr Vertrauen bedanken.
Bereits am Samstag 31. Juli, werden sich dutzende der zahlreichen Shaper, die sich über all die Jahre auf dem “Plateau Rosa” die Hände wund geschaufelt haben vereinen, um zusätzliche special obstacles und hidden lines zu bauen. Auf diesem einzigartigen Spielplatz wird dann, nach einer kleinen, aber feinen Party, am Nationalfeiertag der kreativste Rider gekürt und mit einem Zimtstern Outfit belohnt. Auch weitere Preise und Giveaways winken den Leuten, die sich im Sommer wieder mal auf den Berg wagen, um die Vorteile der warmen Jahreszeit im Schnee zu geniessen.

Programm:

Wenns dir nicht passt, kannst du ausschlafen oder Murmeltiere jagen gehen. Wir jedenfalls frühstücken täglich ab 7h und düsen dann zum Allalin-Gletscher hoch. Das Coaching dauert stets von 9-12h, gefolgt vom freien Training bis der Park um 13h schliesst. Um 1430h gibts Lunch im Hotel.

Nachmittags bieten wir ein vielfältiges Angebot an Fun Sports wie Skaten, Trampolin springen, Basketball, Beach Volley, Tennis, Golf, Fussball, Klettern. Anmeldung/Zuteilung erfolgt jeweils tags zuvor oder morgens mittels Info-Tafel im Hotel. Je nach Wetter.

Später treffen wir uns alle um 1930h im Hotel zum 3-Gang-Dinner. Danach spielen wir oft gemeinsam an der WII-Station oder hängen ab mit Snow- und Surf-DVDs. Manche gehen auch aus, z.B. in die berühmte Popcorn Bar. Alkohol gibt’s dort erst ab 18 Jahren. Übrigens: Jüngere Campteilnehmer geniessen bei uns eine besonders intensive Betreuung.

It is time again for summer, joy, sun and Basel! Hard to believe it’s already for the 10th time that Carhartt is presenting the etnies European Skateboard Championships 2010 from the 5th – 8th of August in Basel, Switzerland. IOU Ramps will be in charge of getting the party going with a redesigned streetcourse and miniramp.
The city of Basel provides the venue and over 300 skateboarders from over 20 nations are on the guest list. We would be happy if you join the ESC crew, etnies, Carhartt, Element, Skullcandy, Zimstern, G-Shock, and Red Bull to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the ESC and the party of the summer with us.
The youngsters, 16 and under, start off the show with the Street Junior Champs on Thursday afternoon. On Friday we celebrate skateboarding all day long during the Street prequalification to find the ones who will compete against the Top 100 from Europe. This “VIP list” of 100 prequalified riders will be announced on www.skateboardeurope.com at the beginning of June.
Saturday kicks off the miniramp with the qualification runs, as well as the Street qualification. Sunday is dedicated to the finals in street, miniramp and Girlʼs Jam. Hopefully the crowd and the competitors will still be in the mood to have a good time after the Saturday night party mission.

September 2010 ist es wieder soweit: freestyle.ch Zürich, der europaweit grösste Freestylesport-Event, wird auf der Landiwiese die Besten der Besten in den Disziplinen Snowboard, Freeski, FMX und Skateboard zusammenbringen. Neu wird das Programm bei freestyle.ch auf zwei Tage konzentriert. Mit den Public PLUS Tickets gibt es eine neue, interessante Kategorie für über 21-Jährige. Eine limitierte Anzahl vergünstigter 2-Tagespässe sowie alle weiteren freestyle.ch-Tickets sind ab sofort bei Starticket erhältlich.

Das Programm bei freestyle.ch Zürich vom 25. und 26. September wird dieses Jahr erstmals auf zwei Tage konzentriert. «Mit den kompletten Qualifikationen und der Crossover Session wird der Samstag für die Besucher noch attraktiver, weil alle Athleten anwesend sind», sagt OK-Präsident Erwin Flury. Zwei Konzerte sorgen für den musikalischen Groove auf der Landiwiese. Die Finals mit den weltweit besten Freestylesportlern in den Disziplinen Snowboard, Freeski, FMX und Skateboard finden wie gewohnt am Sonntag statt. Erwartet werden über die zwei Tage rund 35’000 Besucher. freestyle.ch- Fans kommen am Freitagabend bei der Riders Welcome Party voll auf ihre Kosten. Bei der exklusiven Präsentation der Athleten sorgen die Delinquent Habits musikalisch für Unterhaltung.

Neue Ticketkategorie
Tickets für den beliebten Anlass sind ab sofort bei Starticket.ch erhältlich. Die verschiedenen Ticketkategorien bieten die Möglichkeit, für alle Bedürfnisse das richtige Package zusammenzustellen. SAAS-FEE RIDE 2010  -  Event Cancelled
This year’s Saas-Fee Ride 10 event has unfortunately been postponed until next summer due to unusual weather patterns over the past few weeks. Extremely high temperatures has effected the construction possibilities of the competition Big Air kickers in Saas-Fee’s snowpark.

Ride Freesport and Saas-Fee Bergbahnen took the decision to postpone the event until next summer so as to maintain a level of safety for the athletes and also to not compromise the athletes professional skiing standard.  It is important that freestyle skiing is portrayed in a professional manner and running the event with the athletes not being able to output their full level and style due to conditions does not do the sport justice.

Next summers event is confirmed for the 16th July.  Next Ride Freesport event is the London Ride 2010 on the 23rd October at the Metro Ski + Snowboard Show.

Once again Burton Snowboards and Demonium team up for the Burton Summer Camps in Les 2 Alpes during two weeks from July 10th – July 24th. Like every summer, this is all about having a good time riding one of the best snowpark in the Alps together with Burton’s European team riders and certified coaches to make sure you improve your riding skills.

- July 10th – 17th : A Kids Week in partnership with 6 Punto 9 Camps, finally kids from 13 years onwards will be able to join the camps with a 24h supervision and experience the relaxed atmosphere of summer snowboarding with their favorite pro riders.

Eröffnung Sommerskigebiet
Am 3. Juli öffnet das Sommerskigebiet wieder seine Tore und damit auch der Freestylepark. Das Setup besteht wie in den letzten Jahre aus zwei Kickerlines, Rails, Boxen und einer Superpipe. Vor der Eröffnung werden wir euch mit ein paar Bildern auf der Freestyle Website über die genaueren Obstacles und Parkkonditionen informieren.

Camps im Sommer
Auch diesen Sommer finden wieder diverse Ski- und Snowboardcamps in Saas-Fee statt. Anfangs Juli startet das Zoom Camp mit Skirace- und Freestylecamps. Mitte Juli beginnen die Freeskicamps von Warren Smith sowie die Snowboardcamps aus Dänemark, die so genannten DIN Camps. Neu dieses Jahr gibt es in der letzten Juliwoche die Eskimos Freestylecamps.
